Natural Shampoo Soap
$18.00
For all hair types. Note: This is a shampoo SOAP bar. The other type of solid shampoo bars on the market are known as syndet (synthethic detergent) bars, and are soap-free and pH balanced. This soap bar is all natural, but will behave differently to a syndet bar which is more similar to liquid shampoo formulation. Please get in touch with me if you have questions!
A luxurious dense lathering soap with loads of hair loving essential oils, this bar is a real natural treat for your skin, scalp and hair. You can use it on your face and body too, so it's a great all-in-one travel/camping kit!
This is a special recipe with kukui nut oil, jojoba and loads of Shea butter alongside the usual coconut, olive and avocado. It's super smooth and your hair will love it.
If you are thinking of changing to a natural solid shampoo bar, be aware that your hair will need to go through a transition back to its natural state which can cause a few bad hair days. Commercial shampoos are laden with silicones and other chemicals that coat the hairs on your head and these can take a while to wash/wear away.
Personally, I like to do a vinegar rinse every couple of weeks, which leaves my hair lovely and soft and shiny. I use 2 Tbsp vinegar (white wine or apple cider) in 1L warm water and rinse through after shampooing.
