Ceres Organics Short Grain Brown Rice - 500g

One of the most full-flavoured variety, short grain brown rice is an excellent source of whole grain. That’s because brown rice isn't milled as much as white, so it retains the bran and germ, making it more nutritious and chewy. When cooked, short grain brown rice soften and stick together in a creamy texture. These properties make it especially suitable for dishes like pudding, rice balls, croquettes, paella and risotto.

How to Use:

To cook, rinse rice in cold running water. Using 1 1/2 cups water to 1 cup rice, quickly bring to the boil in uncovered pot. Then put lid on and reduce heat to a simmer for about 20 minutes. Turn off heat and let stand for another 15-20 minutes. Fluff and serve.
