This full leaf variety of green tea is organically grown in the Hunan province, of south central China. Often referred to by its common name Chunmee, we fairly source this tea directly from the growing cooperative in this region. Abundant in antioxidants, it has a bold and balanced green tea flavour, with subtle hints of smokiness, reminiscent of the pan firing process it undergoes in production.
Place a heaped teaspoon (2 grams) of tea per cup (250ml) into a teapot or infuser. Add filtered water at 70ºc–80ºc and allow to infuse for 2–3 minutes. Strain the tea and serve.
